Contract win: Significant cross-selling deal
Kewill Systems plc, (LSE: KWL) (“Kewill” or “the Group”), the provider of supply chain control software and solutions, today announced that A. N. Deringer, a leading provider of international supply chain solution services, has signed an agreement for its international trade management business, TradePoint, to provide Custom House Brokerage, Freight Forwarding and other supporting technology solutions for Deringer’s entire US operations, for an initial 5 year period.
Currently a Kewill Shipping Solutions customer, this latest contract with TradePoint exemplifies the Kewill Group’s focused strategy of delivering value to its customers through synergistic product offerings and is a successful demonstration of the cross-selling opportunities within the newly expanded Kewill Group.
Deringer has been using systems developed in-house, supported by an extensive internal data processing staff. TradePoint’s international trade solution will allow Deringer to focus on their core competence and business functions of international supply chain solution services, and to ensure the deployment of cost effective and competitive solutions for their operations and customers. The integrated operational software systems TradePoint will supply include the major applications of customs brokerage, freight forwarding and breakbulk on AIX/SQL platform. Additionally TradePoint will provide significant enhancements to Deringer’s Advanced Information Management System (AIMS), which allows shippers to create, save, and monitor shipments electronically, as well as enhancing their document imaging and management system.
