RAC Auto Windscreens heralds new business efficiencies using Kewill InsuranceXchange

Guildford, UK – Kewill (LSE: KWL) a leading provider of global solutions for the dynamic supply network, today announced a new, streamlined electronic communication platform it is providing for RAC Auto Windscreens (RAC). RAC Auto Windscreens provides a complete service repairing and replacing automotive glazing for a wide range of private and corporate customers across Europe. The multiple year contract has been signed to utilise Kewill’s InsuranceXchange (KIX), a fully hosted managed solution, to augment its electronic communication and trading platform.
RAC undertook a review of its existing communication platform and highlighted functionality gaps which slowed down the process of transferring data to and from their business partners. Within this review they also evaluated the decision of keeping the responsibility of their technology in-house or fully out-sourcing. Using KIX, as an outsourced managed solution, RAC will reduce operational costs whilst improving business efficiency with the straight through processing of data removing the laborious tasks such as re-keying and ensuring a much higher level of accuracy.
