Speakers:
Valarie Neuhart, Post Release Branch Chief, Cargo Systems Program Office, Office of Information Technology, Customs and Border Protection. Core responsibilities are to ensure that the collection of requirements from CBP, government agencies and the Trade are captured for consideration in the development of the Automated Commercial Environment. She has 16 years of CBP experience. She began her CBP career at the LA/LB Seaport, where she was a Commodity Team Aid and an Import Specialist. After 5 1/2 years she transferred to the Port of Port Huron where she spent 6 years. She has been at Headquarters on the ACE project for 4 1/2 years where she currently manages the ACE Post Release development.
Celeste Catano is the Principal Designer, Analyst & Developer for the Import and Customs Brokerage software applications at Kewill Trade and Logistics. Among other things, Celeste is also a licensed Customs Broker, a Post Release Trade Ambassador, one of the Trade Co-Chairs of the TSN Transition Committee, and a member of the TSN Entry Committee. She has previously been a Product Designer, Product Maintenance Programmer, Support Manager, Support Analyst, and Installation and Training Specialist. Celeste holds a BS in Math and Computer Sciences from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA in Information Systems from New Hampshire College.
