The Kewill Product Development Team is currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our organization.  The QA Engineer will have a wide range of research, design, quality process, testing and troubleshooting responsibilities and must be able to apply software testing skills in day-to-day business scenarios. This individual will be responsible for driving automation through the organization to create a framework that supports repeatable and maintainable test scenarios as the product evolves. Responsibilities will include:

  • Tests and troubleshoots newly developed and redesigned Company software solutions 
  • Creates, maintains, and implements test plans and test cases to test functional area(s) of the application 
  • Executes and maintains pre-defined, automated and manual test cases designed for functional, system and regression testing 
  • Documents and summarizes test results and reports findings
  • Develops and maintains automated scripts 
  • Reviews product documentation as part of the QA process 
  • Independently determines and develops test approaches to solutions 
  • Participates in analyzing and designing test suites

 Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree 
  • Minimum 3 years software QA testing experience 
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and Quality Assurance role within that process 
  • Hands-on experience testing applications required and knowledge of scripting languages and test automation desired 
  • Visual Basic, C or C++, html, xml, Sql Server, and API testing familiarity, a plus 
  • Candidate must have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and time management skills, and strong oral and written communication skills 

This position will be based initially in Marlborough, MA.  It will be based in Chelmsford, MA, when we move to our new facility in December, 2008.
