Availability Loader

Kewill have written a piece of software they have called the Availability Loader. This software, although unsupported, allows the simple editing, either locally or remotely, of the new comma separated value (csv) output from the Bhs Supplier System software. Once the available quantity accurately reflects your companies’ stock levels you can save the file which can then be imported back into the Bhs software.

Setup and Use

  1. Download the availabilty tool
  2. Choose a location on your PC to save the file to, i.e. Desktop
  3. Double click on the Kewill Icon, this will load the program
  4. Click the Load button to bring up and Open Dialogue box
  5. Browse to the latest availability file on your PC and click Open
  6. Enter the quantity available in the light blue fields
  7. Save the file and close the program
  8. Send the file back to your contact either BhsBureauA or BhsBureauB at Kewill as an email attachment

Features of the Availability Loader:

  • It shows the row currently being edited by underlining it therefore making mistakes by editing the wrong row less likely.
  • It automatically works out the Available Quantity from a edit of any of the three quantity columns <AvailQty>, <Inners> or <WHse’s> (if this feature does not work please contact your Bhs Buyer to get the product amended for the Inner-Pack quantity and/or the Warehouse-Pack quantity, this will then be included in the next availabilty file that you are sent);
  • An Edit of any of the three quantity columns only responds to Numeric keys, if a non-valid key is pressed it responds with a Beep.
  • It can sort by any column into Ascending order: this is achieved by Left Clicking the mouse on the desired column heading.
  • It can sort by any column into Descending order: this is achieved by Left Clicking the mouse on the column heading of a column that is already sorted in Ascending order.
  • It can make the Available Quantity column all read zero: this is achieved by Right Clicking on the column heading of the <AvailQty> column and selecting Zero.
  • It can accept availability csv files that are dragged onto it while open, if the current availability report has been Modified it prompts the user to save changes.
  • It can accept availability csv files that are dragged onto an Icon representing a shortcut to starting the program.
